Six months into her transition to Naples, Italy Theresha (aka T) and Abou found one another.  As most know the gym is T’s happy place.  Rather than working out on base, T wanted to gain a true Italian experience, so she found a local gym near downtown Naples.  One day Abou approached T as she was working out and asked her about the tattoo of Africa she had on her arm.  But there was one problem....he said this in Italian and well T had no clue what he was trying to say.  Abou looked confused and puzzled so he asked if she spoke French.  Smiling T shook her head no and explained she only spoke English.  Feeling somewhat defeated Abou left the conversation because he did not speak English.  For days Abou pondered how to communicate with T.  Abou is a physical trainer and bodybuilding competitor, he has never stopped his workout to speak to anyone, especially during the competition timeframe.  Abou finally decided to ask the manager of the gym (who was his close friend of his) if he had T’s Instagram info.  After receiving this info, Abou sent T a DM and from there they met soon after for a café (using google translate as a means of communication) and the rest was history.  Fast-forward one year later, Abou was fluent in English.  Before proposing Abou face-timed her father and mother asking for her hand in marriage.  On her 30th birthday, Abou flew T to Budapest, Hungary, and told her for her birthday he organized a photoshoot near the waterfront.   As they walked the city he led her to the rooftop of the Palace Hotel with a photographer and videographer there to capture the moment he asked her for her hand in marriage.
